I love weddings! Seriously, being the person that captures your love is my dream job. And I take that responsibility seriously!
I'm all about making genuine moments look artful and timeless. I'll be jetting around getting candids of you and your guests, but I'll also guide you and your spouse (!!) through some poses to create stunning portraits you can look back on forever.
You did all the hard work by falling in love, now it's my job to preserve it!
I'm Eli - let's know each other.
I started doing wedding photography to support myself through grad school and totally fell in love (ha). Now I've got an MFA in playwriting, a big old camera, and an approach to capturing romance that's fueled by storytelling.
If I'm not writing or snapping pics, I'm probably reading lit fic, boogying with the local West Coast Swing folks, pumping iron (gotta stay strong to heft the aforementioned big old camera), or cuddling with my dog, Hazel.
I currently live in Iowa City with my partner, Lexys - but a move to Chicago is imminent! Stay tuned!

A VIDEO CALL
Once you reach out, we'll hop on a video call where I'll get the low down. I want to know about you, your fiancé, the story of how you met - tell me everything!

A PROPOSAL
(Another one). Once we decide we're a good fit, I'll put together a proposal detailing all the specifics of your wedding package. You can tweak this as much as you like - we'll curate it to your needs!

A PLAN
About two months out, we'll get into the weeds - timeline, who's who, Pinterest boards, details. I'll help you structure the day so that we can fit everything in.

A WEDDING
On your wedding day, there will be nothing left to worry about. You marry the love of your life, I'll make sure you remember it.
